Narrative Theorists: Claude Levi-Strauss’ Binary Opposition Theory

Next up is Claude Lévi-Strauss (1908-2009), our third theorist. He came up with the binary opposition theory. In this theory, you find “a set of connected words or ideas that mean the opposite of each other.” Some example could be:

•Individual vs Community

•Peace vs War
